In the Beginning of 2012 the traditional Flensburg manufacturer of pumps and fluid management systems took over the Sheffield based specialists in tyre inflators and pressurized air tools, PCL Air Technologies. After the successful rebranding of HORN TECALEMIT, PLEX was also in charge of the rework of the brand identity of PCL, as well as the development of the visual identity of HORNGROUP.

PLEX’s rebrand of IVU encompasses corporate brand design, web design and exhibition design.
PROJECTS: NATGAS - ALSO 2012 TO APPEAR ON E-WORLD, AGAIN PERFECTLY STAGED BY PLEXGROUP
For the third time the Potsdam gas supplier for industrial customers natGAS AG is presenting on e-world in Essen, Germany. The architects of aPLEX are really "stageing" the company and their services a perfect kind.

Projects: Plexgroup developed new trade show concept for GDF Suez, the world's largest energy supplier.
The French energy group GDF Suez had its booth at 2012 E-world, the leading European trade fair for energy and water in food, once again done by the Plexgroup. While in 2010 and 2011 we varied our award-winning booth design from 2009 - for this year's presentation we developed a completely new architecture.

Agency: partnership with MetaBranding Seoul, South Korea
MetaBranding is one of the most important brand agencies in South Korea. They offer advice on brand architecture, naming, brand design and comprehensive identity systems. MetaBranding has over 40 employees and cooperated with the major Korean brand Samsung, LG, Hyundai Motors and Kumho. With this partnership we intend to expand our presence in Asia.
Projects: New exhibition concept for engine manufacturer MTU.
In cooperation with the stand construction company bluepool in Leinfelden aPLEX developed a new exhibition design for world's leading manufacturer of large diesel engines MTU. Based on the lines of the MTU logo, PLEXgroup designed a modular exhibition concept that, after it's premiere at Agritechnika 2011, the design will be universally rolled out.
Awards: It's raining awards for the TOTO Fairstand on ISH 2011
The fairstand of TOTO Europe on ISH 2011, designed by Mach Architects, Zurich, receives the Red Dot Award Communication Design and the iF Communication Design Award. PLEX was responsible for illustrations and the concept and realisation of the fair communication.
Awards: PLEX REBRANDING FOR TECALEMIT WINS AS WELL AUTOMOTIVE BRAND CONTEST
After already being awarded "Rebrand100", the rebranding of HORN TECALEMIT by PLEX is "winner" in the Automotive Brand Contest 2011 by German Design Council.

In association with IDZ, SEGD, the leading global organisation dedicated to communication design in the built environment, is visiting Berlin. Dietmar of PLEX talked about ‘Spacial Branding: Designing Brand Spaces for Volkswagen’.
News: Volkswagen Opens “Brand Temple” In The Autostadt.
After about six months of refurbishment, the Volkswagen pavilion in the Autostadt was reopened in July. PLEXgroup carried out the conceptualization and overall implementation. The focus is the media sculpture "Brand Core" - over 15meters high and weighing 27 tons. The brand core gives an insight into the multifaceted universe of the Volkswagen brand.
Projects: TOTO to bring Japanese bath culture to Europe
TOTO is Japan's leading sanitary ware manufacturer and the company hat it’s roll out on the European market in 2009. They needed new communication media as part of the stand at the trade fair for bathroom und sanitary ISH in Frankfurt, Germany. PLEX was commissioned with the 2011/2012 general catalogue in 5 languages, a customer magazine, large format outdoor advertising, giveaways and two radio spots.
