PROJECTS: TOTO WITH NEW CATALOG CONCEPT ON ISH 2017 TRADE FAIR
On March 14, 2017, the world's largest international trade fair for sanitation, heating and air conditioning ISH was launched in Frankfurt. Our client TOTO is exhibiting this year for the fifth time. Parallel with their 100th company anniversary, PLEXGROUP designed and implemented a new customer catalog. Since 2009, TOTO has been developing, producing and distributing its holistic bathroom concepts for the most demanding requirements in Europe. Since 2010, PLEX has been supporting the company founded in 1917 in Kitakyushu, Japan, in brand communication in these markets.
PROJECTS: SIEGWERK OPENS UP FIRST INKSPERIENCE CENTER IN SHANGHAI, CHINA
Siegwerk has expanded its presence in Asia by opening a new center for packaging inks in Shanghai. In the reception area of the new building, which offers a total of 220 workstations, the "INKsperience Center" is a showroom that was developed and realized together with PLEXGROUP in Berlin and Shanghai. The imposing five-storey building in the south-west of the CBD of Shanghai will, in the future, be the place where new products are developed according to the individual requirements and specific needs of the customers. Customers and guests from all over the world were invited, when Siegwerk China officially opened the new, building completely colored in red, on 21 October 2016.

Bringing SUPPLier brands TO LIFE: EXPERIENCE BRANDING IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLIER INDUSTRY.
The theme "Experience Branding" is becoming more and more important, urging future suppliers to break new ground and reposition themselves. An experience culture has taken hold, bringing both new challenges and new opportunities to the industry. At PLEXGROUP, we have just published our study "EXPERIENCE BRANDING IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLIER INDUSTRY." Trends and current developments in the field are analyzed, revealing what matters to supplier brands and what factors make them successful.
Leightweight Construction at Volkswagen Autostadt.
The exhibit demonstrates the general interaction of substantial and constructional lightweight materials. A sandwich construction that is aesthetically derived from lightweight materials becomes a three-dimensional object that is filled with a lightweight frame construction. A simple rectangular exterior form was chosen due to the fact that lightweight construction exists mostly in the interior structure of an object. To emphasize this, the exterior of the exhibit was left plain white while the interior elements were given an eye-catching signal colour. Certain parts of the structure can be taken out by the visitor to analyse for themselves the various themes involved in lightweight construction. Over three interactive stations, visitors are able to get a deeper insight into the essential elements of the topic.

AWARDS: VOLKSWAGEN BRAND PAVILION IS NOMINEE IN GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2014
The Volkswagen brand pavilion, a project of PLEXGROUP, was awarded today the title "nominee" in the German Design Award 2014. An award which highlights the design competence of the participants. The award by the German Design Council celebrates its anniversary next year and thus is already pioneering for 60 years.

The entire architectural environment is taken into consideration for the German Design Council's first cross-disciplinary honor, the Icon Award. We recieved the award "Best of Best" in the communication category for our work for TOTO Europe. We also won an award in the Interior Retail category for our Volkswagen brand pavilion.
PROJECTS: FORMING A STRONG GROUP - WEB CASE STUDY ABOUT BRAND DESIGN OF PCL AND HORNGROUP AVAILABLE
Back in 2012 a traditional Flensburg manufacturer of pumping systems took over Sheffield-based PCL Air Technologies, a specialist in pressurized air tools, and we helped bring the brands together. A successul rerand of HORN TECALEMIT was followed by a refreshing of PCL's identity and the development of a visual identity of HORNGROUP.
