Our story began over 30 years ago with a clear mission: to bring companies and brands to life through creative excellence. PLEXGROUP was founded from two perfectly interlinked specialist areas - design and architecture - with two independent departments, the former K/PLEX Konzepte für Kommunikation GmbH and aPLEX Corporate Architecture GmbH.
As an independent, owner-managed agency group, we have relied on this special combination of branding, design and architecture for three decades. And even after the merger of the two GmbHs in 2024 to form PLEXGROUP GmbH, the broad brand communication portfolio will remain and make us special with our expertise.

Dominika Hasse studied Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts. In 1990, together with Bruno Bakalovic, Dietmar and Oliver Mühr, she founded K/PLEX Konzepte für Kommunikation GmbH (now PLEXGROUP GmbH).

Dominika Hasse has been Professor of Corporate Design & Editorial Design since 2008.

She has been active at universities since 1998:
2002 substitute professorship “Corporate Design” in the Department of Communication Design at the University of Duisburg/Essen, 2002 appointment to the Faculty of Design, HAWK Hildesheim as Professor of Editorial Design. -

Dietmar Mühr is co-founder and member of PLEXGROUP GmbH.
