Because clear statements strengthen the positioning

Who are we, what do we offer and what makes us unique? In order to make the special market positioning of IVU Informationssysteme and its services quickly comprehensible, IVU needed strong statements and a good brand strategy. IVU Informationssysteme GmbH offers a specialised and complex range of products and services for public utilities. Our task was to communicate them.

We worked out the USP, a brand strategy for a unique positioning and from there we developed strengthening statements and catchy wordings beyond the factual industry-speak. The text modules are used across all media as introductory sentences on the website, more promotionally in advertisements or inspiringly on trade fair banners.

Use design to convey information

The design should also reflect the company spirit, the company's way of working and the brand personality. A company that thinks ahead and at the same time works out everyday solutions in a down-to-earth and approachable way should also convey this message visually. 

The corporate design got a brush-up to visually support the new clear communication. It was to be quick to understand, modern and accessible and tell the story of conceptual thinking in a digital framework.

Step by step to the new look

Starting with the development of an anniversary logo, we began the process towards a new visual identity. We updated the colour palette, developed new layout concepts, expanded the CD with secondary design elements, logo animations, modernised the typography, website designs, icons or animations. Instead of a big bang, the brand evolves in small steps and from one medium to the next to the new look. The brand remains self-resembling, customers recognise their business partners, and yet the design is more concise, digital, modern and vibrant.
