PLEXGROUP developed an innovative explanatory video for our customer ZÖLLNER, which premiered at the Innotrans 2024 trade fair in Berlin.

The aim was to present the broad product portfolio “Construction site safety on the track” in a simple but captivating way. The challenge was to get trade fair visitors to stop, take an interest in the video and find the few minutes of time invested worthwhile.

To make the video work optimally, we greatly reduced the content and focused on the essentials. As the video is shown without sound, further information was displayed in concise texts - short, precise and immediately understandable. Our top priority: getting to the heart of the most important basics. All further details can then be discussed in greater depth in a personal conversation.

Based on ZÖLLNER's existing corporate design, we further developed the visual design and added new elements specifically suited to the animation medium. The video needed to be modern, fresh and appealing - the focus was on clear colors, easy-to-read typography and simple but elegant shapes. This enabled us to not only inform viewers, but also entertain them.

The first video was just the beginning. We have created a flexible design system that can also be used for future videos in a resource-saving and efficient way. Instead of complex illustrations or elaborate perspectives, the focus was on simple, easily reproducible animations that still look professional. This means that ZÖLLNER can continue to use a proven and effective format in the future.

The result? A video that not only impressed visitors, but also delighted our customer.
